Jim Baxter is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), a CAPS Certified Contractor, and an aging-in-place remodeling expert. He is the owner of Baxter Construction in Hopewell and has over 35 years of experience as one of the premier remodeling consultants in New Jersey.
Jim has earned several designations by the National Association of Home Builders, including Certified Green Professional (CGP), Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), and Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR). Baxter Construction has received the 2013 Chrysalis Award for Residential Remodeling Excellence, the 2012 Remodeling Magazine’s Big50 business excellence award for best practices, and a number of historic preservation awards as well as several state and national awards.
A professional remodeling contractor, Jim specializes in making modifications that support aging in place, including installing ADA showers and stair lifts and modifying both indoor and outdoor living spaces.
